Before you begin...you will need:
- Any information you have been given about applying for a school place
- Your child’s full address (including postcode)
- Your child’s date of birth
- Approx 15-20 minutes to complete the application (but you can save and come back to it later)
- For security, the website will timeout if you login and do not use it
- Do not use the Browser's Back button; use the Back button on each page
School Admissions - Online Applications
This online application facility should only be used for applying for a school place for September 2017 – starting school or transferring to junior or secondary school. For information on how to apply for a school place during the school year, please visit the In Year Admissions webpage www.cornwall.gov.uk/changingschools
If you have applied using this system in previous years you will need to regsiter again as all logons and passwords have been re-set.
Children with Education, Health and Care Plan or Statement of Special Educational Need
Please note that if your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHC Plan) or Statement of Special Educational Need, you do not need to complete an application form as a school place will be identified through a separate process. Please contact the SEN Assessment and Provision Team for more information:

However, if your child is currently being assessed to decide whether an EHC Plan is necessary, you will need to make an application using the normal process.
Before registering or applying, it is important that you read the supporting information on the School Admissions webpage www.cornwall.gov.uk/admissions This outlines the agreed process and timetable and explains how your application will be handled and how places will be allocated.
If you need to send us any supporting evidence (for example confirmation of a new address, a posting for a Service Family or other evidence to support your application such as medical reasons) please send this:

Amending an Existing Application?
When applying online, you can change your preference(s) right up to the application deadline. However, please remember that if you edit your application, it is essential that you resubmit it – failure to do so will result in a non-application.
